Orange 21 Files 10Q Extension

CARLSBAD, Calif., Nov 14, 2006 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Orange 21 Inc. (NASDAQ:ORNG), a leading developer of brands that produce premium products for the action sport and youth lifestyle markets, announced today that it will file an extension notification with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for its quarterly report on Form 10-Q for the fiscal period ending September 30, 2006. The Company recently announced executive management changes and that, in combination with the added resources necessary to close the financial records for LEM S.r.l., the Company's manufacturing facility acquired earlier in the year, has necessitated this extension. The Company expects to file its quarterly report on Form 10-Q and announce its results for the third quarter of Fiscal 2006 on or before Monday, November 20th.
